Each tablet of 250 mg contains:
Spiramycin 10 mg
Doxycycline hyclate 5 mg
A broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
ORNIX PLUS is used to treat Avian Fever (Psittacosis), a zoonotic disease that affects both birds and humans. It is one of the most serious respiratory infections in birds and may develop into Complex Avian Fever.
The disease appears in birds suffering from pneumonia and is caused by Chlamydia — a very small microorganism excreted through feces, tears, or mucous secretions from the mouth and throat.
It also treats E. coli infections that are sensitive to Doxycycline or Spiramycin.
For canaries and ornamental birds: One tablet in 30 ml of water for 5 to 7 days.
For pigeons: Orally: Two tablets on the first day, then one tablet daily for 5 to 7 days.
• Do not give calcium tablets, minerals, or calcium derivatives during the treatment period.
3 days from the last application of the medication.
Store in a dry place, away from heat, moisture, and sunlight, at room temperature.
5 blister packs, each containing 10 tablets of the product, in an outer cardboard box that includes a leaflet about the product inside.
