Each tablet contains: Meclozine Hydrochloride 25mg + Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (B6) 50mg.
Meclozing and Pyridoxine are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, the peak plasma concentration occurring about 2-6 hours after oral administration and are widely distributed in the body. Unchanged drug and metabolites are excreted in the urine and only trace amount have been found in the stool.
Pregnancy nausea and vomiting. It can be used as an antihistamine and in the treatment and prevention of vit B6 deficiency states
Caution is needed in patients with renal or hepatic impairment and also special precaution should be taken in patients with cardiac disease.
Long-term administration of large doses is associated with the development of some side-effects such as slight drowsiness, lassitude dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, headache and an increase in appetite with resultant weight gain. In rare cases it may sometimes cause rashes and hypersensitivity reactions.
This product with antihistamine drug may enhance the sedative effects of CNS depressants including alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics and antipsychotic.
Some drugs may increase the requirements for pyridoxine such as isoniazide, penicillamine, and oral contraceptives.
