Each 1 ml of suspension contains 40 mg of simethicone .

Simethicone reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles causing them to degrade.

- It is used in the treatment of flatulence and meteorism, for the elimination of gas, air, or foam from the gastro-intestinal tract prior to radiography or upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy and for the relief of abdominal distension and dyspepsia .

- It helps in relieving minor postoperative and postprandial symptoms and for infant colic.

- It can be used in combination with an antacid in gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn and gastric hyperacidity.

- It can be used for the relief of flatulence associated with all gastric disorders of a functional or organic nature .

Should not be used in patients who are severely debilitated or suffering from renal failure .
Gastro-intestinal side effects are uncommon .

Unless otherwise directed by the physician:

- Babies and infants (up to 6 years old): 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day in the feeding
bottle or after meals.

- Children: (6 to 12 years) 15-20 drops after each meal and before bed time.

- Adults: 30-50 drops after each meal and before bed time.
